Supplier wont refund me

Asked on Jan 14th, 2015 on Consumer Fraud - New Jersey
More details to this question:
Hi I placed an order with a supplier back in 09/07/13, which they delivered to the wrong address. After which they simply claimed that since the delivery has already been made (to the wrong address) and they are not getting a refund from FedEx the only option available to them is that they will refund me once I have placed orders worth 20K with them. Can someone please advise me what I can do to get my money back. I have placed the order as a company but the money was made for from my personal account. Someone said to me that if I take them to small claims court it will take ages to get the money back and does not hurt their repute at all. Please helppp

You need to make a business decision. You need to decide if you want to spend money on an attorney. An attorney will increase the probability of you being successful. However, you will have to pay the attorney a retainer up front.
