More details to this question:
had a filing fall out of my molar, went to the dentist and was told I need a root cana from a 10 second visial inspectipnl. A picture was taken after the initial inspection and the procedure began. There was no pain or visible decay that either my wife or I saw. I was charged almost double what I should have and was left with a large filing that prevents my remaining teeth from touching creating incredible pressure when I chew and now a large amount of pain. What can I do?

Nothing on the facts provided. You can return to the dentist to adjust the filing but a patient is not the arbiter of whether a root canal is appropriate. You would have to have a written opinion from another dentist to even raise the issue for something liek a refund.
