I bought a car last year. The dealership told me that it was the only vehicle I qualified for even with co signer. I fell for it car as I’m driving home the airbag light turns on. Called them two weeks later engine light comes on. Took it into get oil change light still on they also did diagnostics. Called dealership to let them know. They promised to fix it had me go back and forth to dealership. Which by December car was already stalling as your driving. Car finally gave up in January and dealership has had it ever since. They first said it would cost $1,400 then in April it wasn’t fixable and they were trying to get me out of the contract. Today they messaged me in order to fix it it’s going to cost $3,2000. Plus I’m still paying $300 a month for this car I don’t have access too. My daughter was forced to buy another car in order to keep her job. She’s a single mom and lives with me
I would work with the dealer and the car manufacturer. They do not want bad publicity. Put every detail in writing to both parties. Ed Dimon, Esq. 732-797-1600
