QUESTION

What would be considered consumer fraud in Florida?

Asked on Nov 27th, 2017 on Consumer Fraud - Florida
More details to this question:
I signed a contract with a match making service in Maitland. This was under the pretenses that I would be socializing with a group of individuals within my age range at events, there would be a significant number of people in my age range also in their service and that the woman I signed up with would be available. Within the first month all three of these items have not matched my expectations. Attempts to break contract with the service amicably have failed and I feel stuck in a rip off situation.

Subjective dissatisfaction is not the same as fraud. There might be fraud - but you will likely start with a breach of contract issue and then go from there. This will likely require that you hire a lawyer to review your agreement, at some expense, and go from there.
