QUESTION

2 Years Expired Wine at Walmart

Asked on Jul 17th, 2014 on Consumer Law - Florida
More details to this question:
Hi I went to the walmart and purchased wine, after everyone who consumed it fell very sick I checked the expiration date and it was two years old wine. I went to the hospital and got MRI done because of the sharp headaches after drinking the wine. I went back to the store and they had lots of boxes of expired wine on the shelf. Told the manager and he took my number but no one contacted me. How would u suggest I proceed?

Given that its Walmart, you canmake the claim with them but dont expect any payment. Absent some significant injuries, the damages dont seem substabtial enough to encourage a lawyer to take the case on a contigentcy fee.
