QUESTION

bankruptcy discharge and judgment for credit card

Asked on Feb 18th, 2014 on Consumer Law - Florida
More details to this question:
I had a judgment file prior to filing bankruptcy. The credit card and account was included and discharged. When asked the credit card company to update the court record, I was told the judgment is still valid...bankruptcy does not discharge judgments, and if I wanted the records updated, I had to make and offer to pay the judgment.
