QUESTION

Can anything be done?

Asked on Nov 03rd, 2017 on Consumer Law - Florida
More details to this question:
My bank has charged me with 2 insufficient fund fees, total $68. They don't wish to remove them under the fact that I've exhausted the amount of courtesy refunds they can extend. I tried sending funds but it was done through their Quickpay which has a cutoff time of 10pm not 11pm like the bank. I was unaware of that, but they claim its in the disclosure which I read once and now cannot view through their "fully functional" app which shows a "No Information Available" message under Disclosures. Moreover, Nov 1 I was overdrawn and posted a payment at 10:30 , but no fee was charged to, a fee being properly charged would have prevented the insufficient fee issue from thw following day, ie. a preventive, the 2 insufficient fees could have been prevented. So they should refund the carges not they do not wish to, what can be done?

The solution here is that you need to either learn how to porperly manage a checking account, get someone to help you who can or simply stop using one as its clear that you are mishandling it by constantly being over drawn. Otherwise its simply not feasible to fight over $68.00 when you keep enagaging in the same conduct.
