QUESTION

Car in autoshop

Asked on Jun 26th, 2017 on Consumer Law - New Jersey
More details to this question:
I took my car in for repair in February and it stayed there for a month. I paid 4,200 for my car to be fixed. It broke down again 1 month later and I took it back to the same shop to be repaired as they offered a warranty. It has been 8 weeks and I still haven't gotten my car back. Can I sue the shop?

Update Your Profile
You need to make a detailed written record of what happened and have another skilled mechanic give you a written opinion that the repair was not done properly. The difficult part of these cases is proving what happened. Ed Dimon
