car repossession

More details to this question:
bought a car with someone(2007) in Hernando Fl they moved out of state they stopped paying payments. I moved to Pa get a call a year later for money for car. They already took the car and resold. In 2015 I got a collection letter for debt owed on car. How do I get this off my credit?

You don't. If you owe money on the account and did not pay it off, and it is properly reported, it is what it is. You can work with the collector/creditor to pay it off which will show paid on credit report which should help some.
