Do I have to pay the damages ?

More details to this question:
Last Thursday, I when to buy a motorcycle, before signed the contract, I want to try the motorcycle, when I release the clutch it stall on me and dropped it and dealership told me I have to pay the damage. Do they have insurance for that? Do I have to pay for it? Thanks L.B.
