More details to this question:
My husband bought a car for me where he was working . They sent me the documents and i signed them online . I guess they told him that my maiden name on my current license was different than my newly married name . They stated they would mail me the title and I was suppose to register after changing my license name . I knew nothing about this. So when we moved to pa , I traded into another dealership the vehicle. Out of hours , I received a text from the company that financed the car a rep who stated that he had contacted a corporate attorney and I was going to be arrested for grand theft auto and go to jail for 25 years . In addition , he threatened he was going to call the nursing board telling them he was charging me with several felonies . I am more than flabbergasted. I never received in the mail any title papers .. what do I do ? When I traded the car to enterprise they also said nothing about the title . I’m so afraid of this rep ! Help me
