More details to this question:
I purchased a puppy in June of this year and Within 2 months of the dog being in my possession it began to have rear leg issues where it could not get up it would fall down and whine and cry a lot. I spoke to the breeder about this and he told me that this is not his problem and was really not interested in what I had to say. I am trying to go by the pet lemon laws but I don't live in the same state as the breeder does so would I have to go by the pet lemon laws in the breeders state or mine? Also the pet lemon law in my state says that if the dog is defective the consumer has the right to return the dog for a full refund and/or full reimbursement for vet bills it also says that that breeder has the right to give me the advertised registration papers within 120 days now I bought the dog on June 9 I didn't get the papers until Nov 17 now because of that the law says that I can return the dog for a full refund or keep the dog and get 75% of the money back what should/can I do?
You are in a difficult position because you and the breeder are in two states. Where did the purchase take place ? This may be the controlling state. Ed Dimon
