More details to this question:
I traded in my veh to a dealer ship. at the time I made my application, I advised the sales rep how much my trade owed, how much my payments were, ect. She advised me she didnt see any liens on my car. I said it was impossible, I was still making payments. she asked if I had a title, which I did received from Tallahasse, so I provided it for her along with my W'2s and all other documentation she requested. She got me approved and I walked out with a new veh. 6 month later, the Dealer has contacted me, advising there is a lien on the trade and I need to pay them the sum of $11k or they are going to sue me. I contacted The bank who originally I was making payments to and they advised me they never got a payoff on that car and there was still a balance of $18K. What should I do? What kind of attorney do I need?
