I'm being sued letter

Asked on May 29th, 2017 on Consumer Law - New Jersey
More details to this question:
Receive a letter with my name and my mother's name saying I'm being sued by Metro Public Adjusters for my parents property which they lost. I don't know why my name is included instead of my father's. It was their property. Is this even legal?
