QUESTION
Intentional damage to returned merchandise
Asked on Mar 22nd, 2017 on Consumer Law - Tennessee
More details to this question:
I rented a 32 LCD tv from aarons for a few months and decide to buy one rather than pay off the tv. My son returned the tv to the shop in full working order. My son stated he went back to the vehicle to get the remote and when he returned to the store the tv had a crack in it as if it had been kicked. Now aarons has sent me to collections for $1800 for what back then was a $300 television set. Please help me not to get screwed by this company

Just tell the collections company that you are not going to pay for it.
