Limited Warranty for a home Central Air Conditioner.

More details to this question:
Purchased and had installed a Bryant Central Air Conditioner on 8/29/09. I am the original owner and the limited warranty on parts and compressor is 5 years or 10 if registered. I have no proof that I registered the product in 2009 and the Carrier consumer relations has nothing. Am I stuck with a dead compressor or is the unit covered for 10 years?
