Liquidating a storage unit

More details to this question:
I have had a storage unit over 16 years due to Medical complications in 2017 I fell a couple months behind I was sent a 30-day letter to catch up in which I did however they had liquidated my storage unit prior to 30 days leaving me with nothing of my personal assets thousands of dollars

This is an isues to be addressed under Fla. Stat. Chap. 83/715. if they failed to compmy with the notice provisions and dispose of the property properly, they may owe you damages for the losses you can prove. Unfortunately, such cases are not often contingent fee cases so you may need to plan on spending money out of pocket on a lawyer and look to get your money reimbursed if you win.
