QUESTION

My daughter was denied medication

Asked on Jul 08th, 2014 on Consumer Law - Florida
More details to this question:
My daughter is on Medicaid. I was told by a pharmacist that my daughter's insurance denied her so they refused to give me her medication. I find out from Medicaid that nobody called them and that the pharmacy lied. They never tried to run the medicaid until I called corporate. Is there anything I can do legally about this as they have withheld my daughter's medication.

Much of this revolves around the nature of the "medication" which was omitted. It it was involving narcotics or opiates in particular there may be other reasons for the refusal. If you have any further questions feel free to call 1-800-922-6442 for a FREE consultation.
