QUESTION

Restraint of Trade

Asked on Mar 11th, 2016 on Consumer Law - Florida
More details to this question:
Is it legal for a manufacturer to restrict their independent dealer in Oklahoma from selling manufacturers product to anyone that wants the product shipped to a freight forwarder? Dealer refuses to ship a product that would be paid for via wire transfer to a known freight forwarder claiming "It's against the rules". I also believe I'm being discriminated against.

As a consumer you generally do not get to dictate how a manufactuer sells its products or the terms of its contracts with its dealers. If there is discrimination you would have to show some scheme or impact on a protected class.
