QUESTION

Statute of Limitations in Florida case filing

Asked on Feb 25th, 2014 on Consumer Law - Florida
More details to this question:
I have a question regarding the Statute of Limitations in Florida. I believe that the time limit on collecting credit card debt is 4 years. If a case is filed against someone within the time limit, but is not prosecuted meaning it was filed, but no further action was taken, does the statute of limitations still run out?
