I had a water softener installed on my home, and a few weeks later the waterline busted they installed. Who is responsible? The company installed the part, the waterline manufacturer, or will I have to pay for damages?

If the waterline that burst was actually installed by the water softener company, then they should fix it. However, if the water line that actually burst was one that they simply attached their line to, then you would have to pay to fix it.
