More details to this question:
I PURCHASED A USED 2012 HYUNDAI SONATA ON 6/10/16. AROUND 7/15/16 MY ENGINE STALLED ON ME WHILE DRIVING. I TOOK IT TO THE HYUNDAI DEALER WHO DETERMINED IT WAS DUE TO A RECALL. I HAVE BEEN OUT OF MY CAR SINCE THE 15TH OF JULY AND WAS TOLD THAT THE ENGINE FOR MY CAR IS ON BACK ORDER FOR ANOTHER 4 WEEKS. DOES THE LEMON LAW APPLY HERE AND WHAT ARE MY CHANCES OF GETTING A NEW CAR. THIS WAS THE FIRST CAR THAT I PURCHASED MYSELF.
The Lemon Law applies but it is being followed. The dealer is reparing the car. The time to get parts is not on the dealer. If he fixes the car for free, the dealer is OK.
