More details to this question:
hello, I was just wondering something. I was living in an apartment for about six weeks and I decided to move because some of the tenants I was living with were making life difficult for me. I paid one full month and I left before the second week of the second month began. I am allowed my deposit back, however I need to know do I have to pay for this second month because I lived here for a week and a half?? The rent is not due until the end of the month. Also do I have to pay for bills, or am I completely free of this apartment?? Thanks, M

The issue turns on if you have a lease.  If not, then you do not have to pay anything.  If yes, then the lease will govern.  You owe the whole term of the lease, unless a clause lets you out early.
