More details to this question:
My Apartment lease is up at the end of the month, And I didnt give them the 60 days they requested (i wasnt aware. i wasnt there when signing the lease my mother was) they are now threating to file it as a broken lease which will go on my credit. i have a copy of the contract, and it does required the 60 days but is there anyway to dismiss that since the lease is up? and since I personally didnt sign off on it.

If you did not sign the lease, you have no obligation under its written terms.  However, you may still be considered a tenant and be liable for the rent. Did you give the landlord a written notification that you were terminating the lease?
