QUESTION

Breach of contract...

Asked on Aug 26th, 2014 on Breach of Contract - California
More details to this question:
My house buyer failed to do their 7-day inspection and deposit. They decided they wanted to pay less for the house than the contract price, and then never did an official addendum or cancellation. They are cash buyers so it's not a matter of not having the money. Should we forget about these people or would we have a chance at forcing them to buy?

I would have to see the purchase contract to give you a firm answer. Often times the seller has to give notice to the buyer to remove contingencies and if the contingencies aren't removed the contract can't be enforced. Thanks,Jon
