Breach of contract and commission no paid

More details to this question:
I have been selling health insurance for 3 years with the same agency, on the open enrollment that started on 11/1/2018 to 12/15/2018 I sold over 800 policies, The owner of the agency had a stroke and the daughter took over the agency. I have been getting paid by the insurance agency just fine my commission. I also worked inside the agency for a salary doing marketing and all kind of office duties on 07/15/2019 the daughter fired me and told me that didn't need my services in the office anymore but we have a verbal agreement which i have recored where she said that i will be getting my commission regularly, on 08/15/2019 she paid the commission to all the agents in the agency but me, she doesn't answer my text or calls and I went by the agency and she wasn't there, i called the insurance company and they said that she have to pay me, I am owed a total of $13124 dollars for this month of 08/15/2019. Please help me thank you.

You will likely need to spend some money to hire a lawyer to demand she pay you or if needed to file suit to force her to do so.
