QUESTION

Buyer renigging

Asked on Apr 30th, 2014 on Breach of Contract - Ohio
More details to this question:
I purchased a group of items, table and chairs, washer and dryer from my wife's aunt. She agreed to sell the items for 300 dollars. She has since been paid but is now stating that she only agreed upon that price for the washer and dryer not the table/chairs. She is stating that she wants another 300 for the table and chairs or she will take us to court. There was no written purchase order only the word of her vs us. Can she take any action in this matter? Thanks in advance.

She can sue you for $300 or the return of the table and chairs.  It will be her word against yours.
