can a will nulify a binding contract?

More details to this question:
A contract promising a common law wife money upon the husbands death. Can any living will revoke said contract?

Assuming that the contract is valid, it is not nullified by the will.  A living will would certainly have nothing to do with it as that relates to end of life health care.
