QUESTION

Can I fire my lawyer before he starts my sue

Asked on Nov 08th, 2017 on Breach of Contract - Tennessee
More details to this question:
I signed a contract with my lawyer for 40% of my settlement but I have to give him 7500 upfront before he starts the sue . Once he wins the sue he will give me the 7500 back. The only thing he has done is spoke with the insurance lawyer and send them a letter. I can’t come up with the 7500 now so how Can I get out of this to find a lawyer that will not charge me anything upfront.

Just fire your current lawyer and call around to find another attorney.
