Asked on Mar 02nd, 2015 on Breach of Contract - Florida
More details to this question:
I signed out a non compete contract that states I can not teach or operate an specific music program curriculum for kids,I was a subcontractor there and I teached in different locations, but the owner of one of that location asked me to open my own program so I resigned and did my own program. But now my old boss is telling me that I signed a contract that states that I can not teach the old program nor a compete one,I have read the contract 1000 times and says ..."Teacher further agrees that while apprenticing or teaching for MKM, and permanently following teacher's separation from MKM s/he will not establish, teach, or direct any Canta y Baila Conmigo programs or use any Canta y Baila Conmigo materials in any early childhood music program in their own facility, or one owned by another within the Miami-Dade, Broward or Palm Beach county borders, as MKM has exclusive and sole proprietary use of these materials in these counties.
