Can I sue or break my contract?

More details to this question:
I'm buying a car off a buy here pay here and we missed a payment on it and they called all our references telling them and then when my wife called they told her she didn't buy a car from a charity and were completely rude and aggressive towards her and when I went in there they told me they didn't say it then later admitted it to me and I got the whole thing on a recording

Anyone can sue anyone for anything, but I don't see any merit to your suit.  Your complaint is that the car seller called your friends and told them unflattering things about you, but if what they said was truthful, they have every right to say it, however rude.  Nor is it actionable that the car company was rude to your wife.
