QUESTION

Can I sue planner for refund

Asked on Mar 27th, 2017 on Breach of Contract - Florida
More details to this question:
During my wedding the bartender and members of the wait staff stole food and alcohol. They were caught in the act by members of my family as well as guests. The wedding planner was informed and she did nothing about it. These people were recommended by her and I paid them as well as for all the food and alcohol. When we asked for a refund she said no and tried to make it seem as though she did nothing wrong. She still wants us to make the last payment which i do not agree with since her staff was stealing and she didn't do her job to satisfaction.

This is clearly about the second part - the planner didn't do her job to your satisfaction. That stated, you may want to retain a lawyer to help address this issue as many such vendors file suit to enforce thier contracts and report to credit reporting and you may not want the issue to escalate unless you are prepared to spend the thousands of dollars defending such a law suit.
