Can I take back a car I sold because of non-payment?

More details to this question:
I had sold a car to a friend and her boyfriend in the amount of $5000.. She agreed to pay $4000 and pay $500 twice a month and her boyfriend agreed to pay $1000.

Unless your contract provides for repossession without need of a judgment, you can't take back the car until and unless you prove your case in court, and even then you may be limited to collecting monetary damages.  You say the  buyers breached the contract.  The buyers will no doubt tell a different story.  A court will have to decide when you sue them.
