ADT WANTED ME TO PAY A FEE FOR AN EARLY CANCELLATION OF A CONTRACT . BUT BECAUSE OF A DIVORCE WHICH HAPPENED UNEXPECTEDLY, I NEEDED TO CANCEL A CONTRACT. HOW CAN I AVOID OR MINIMIZE THEIR CALCULATED FEE. THANKS

You generally won't and the value of such contracts usually make it cost ineffective to fight over whencompared to legal fees and costs.
