Car sold or trashed from Repair shop

More details to this question:
About three years ago I took my car to the shop for motor Repairs n upgrades.. I Jerry Drain gave the Repair Guy half of what he was asking, he wanted 3,000 dollar's for the job, so I gave him 1,500 dollar's and told him to call me when it was done he never called so I called him he told he will have it done another year goes by still no response.... so I happened to call him this year n he said the landlord trashed My car n said I'd have to find another car to put my motor n Transmission in... plz help this is not right my car was a classic now it's gone....

That you let this take 3 YEARS to play out it absurd an foolish. That stated, the complexity this causes will likely result in you paying for legal fees out of pocket to sort all this out as best can be done at this point.
