More details to this question:
i paid a roofer for top row home silver coat. Sons completed the job. Job was paid in full. Son's give a price of $400.00 to apply new shingles and torch down very small back kitchen roof. Sons did work not as I thought, I said they were finished, facts I will explain with pictures of incomplete work I requested roofer complete my kitchen roof properly and you will receive your pay. Fix the damage your sons created, complete the job and you will receive your $400.00.. Mr Boriello, decided to Not give me my Receipt for the work I paid in full,causing me to loose homeowners Insurnance; and put a threat on my, which the police took seriously. i would appreciate counsel and assistance in this matter. Thank you for you time. D

With this amount of money involved, it really isn't feasible to get an attorney involved.  I'd suggest that you be more goal oriented.  Have someone else complete the work, pay for it and get your policy back.  Getting your policy back should be your #1 priority.  Fighting with the prior contractor is probably not going to be the quickest way to solve your problem.  If you've been threatened with physical violence, call the police and report it.
