My contractor didn't finish some of his contracted work. And he's not honoring his 1 year contracted warranty. He damaged a lot of my property, while working, walls, ceiling, floors, kitchen cabinet, appliances, door frames........etc. I emailed him million time and his reply is always straying away of the main issues and discussing others nonsense! He've never been responsible of his subcontractor(s)' issues! I have to deal with them directly and still not achieving any results. He's fully paid! I told him that I'll go legal so he keep emailing me that he's working on an appointment! Then he'll deny any responsibilities, again! Dealing with him have been a roller coaster, never on time, have no due dates! in addition, cheap man-work+ damages everywhere! I have pictures and emails to confirm ALL my claims. Thanks.
I'm not sure what your question is, but you may very well have to sue this contractor for failing to complete the work pursuant to your contract. Depending on the amount of money in question, you may have to file in the General District Court or the Circuit Court for the county in which your property is located.
