More details to this question:
One girl found out that i had 3 shirts that once belonged to Timberlake and i agreed to sell her for $ 2000. It was agreed that she would make payment in installments: $500 for the first two payments, and $1000 as the final payment. After made the second payment, She told me that she did not have enough money to make final payment and asked for more time to pay as her mum had fallen sick so she had to bear hospital bill. I was sympathetic her and told her two payments made were enough. But after two weeks, i found out she had won prize in lottery, amounting to $3000. I now demands her to pay the remaining $1000 but she refuses. May I know what cases or law sections can be related to this case? What legal action can I do?

If you and she are no in sync on what the deal was, you are going to have a tough time proving the claim in court without a writing.  This is a small claims issue, so you can do it yourself.  If you do nothing, your claim is bye, bye, bye.

Why do I think this is not real, but rather a question asked on an exam?   You would sue the girl for breach of the original contract, as your waiver of the remaining $1000 was induced by fraud.
