QUESTION

Did my wedding venue breach our contract?

Asked on Mar 26th, 2014 on Contracts - Washington
More details to this question:
I put down a non-refundable deposit on our wedding venue. I chose the particular venue because the 2 coordinators that come with the venue had 30+ years experience. Since then, one coordinator quit and one was fired. They were replaced with two young people with far less experience. Although the contract doesn't state the names of the coordinators, can I still cancel my venue and get my deposit back since this is not what I agreed to?

I don't think so.  There was no agreement that the wedding coordinators would stay the same in your contract, nor do you even claim that anyone orally represented to you that the coordinators would remain the same to induce you to sign the contract (not that this would make any difference; except in rare circumstances, you can't use oral representations to change the terms of a written contract.)
