QUESTION

Do I have a case?

Asked on Jun 09th, 2017 on Contracts - Florida
More details to this question:
I have a contract with an individual dated March 26, 2016. He owes me the initial investment of $5000 plus 50% of profit, To date he has only paid $450. Additionally, he has failed to fulfill his responsibility explicitly stated in the contract to provide weekly information regarding sales. I want to file a claim in Smalls Claims Court for the balance that includes the initial investment, profit, and costs associated filing a claim.

Sounds like you do - whether filing suit is a viable resolution is a crap shoot on such a case however as there may be many issues with the enforceabilty of such a contract.
