Do I have confidentiality rights as a employee

More details to this question:
I had seen someone who had been using and or abusing drugs in my assisted living facility. And but because I work in health care I turned this into my head DON. AT that point she said there is nothing we can do for that. But than she turn around and told the person that I had told on this and now it Is really bad for me at work. I want to know my rights

In general, absent a confidentiality agreement, most people (not including doctors, lawyers, priests, or the like) have no obligation to keep what you tell them confidential.  However,, depending on what you are facing, you may have rights to protect you against any harassment or retaliation at work for truthfully reporting a problem.
