do i have the right to get my money returned?

More details to this question:
I am a minor, I made a agreement with an adult to pay my portion of a beach trip, I put in 300 dollars and I just pulled out because family emergency came up and they are refusing to return any money. never signed anything

Contracts with minors are generally voidable at the minor's option, so you could have the right to cancel the contract and get your money back.  However, if your parents or guardian knew and approved of the agreement, it may be deemed their agreement and, unless there was an understanding that there would be a refund in the event you had to back out for a family emergency, they may have no right to a refund.
