QUESTION

Help required involves "contracts" law

Asked on Feb 03rd, 2017 on Contracts - New York
More details to this question:
Hello, I'm trying to set up a corp. to get funding for a housing project as a disabled person that will also provide affordable housing for other disabled persons. I need a lawyer to review the Nominee Officer Agreement / Corporate Board Resolution to see if it's done correctly which will protect my interests, that I have to sign with a law firm on the west coast that is helping me set up the bank account as a Nominee Officer for my corp. They sent the 'nominee agreement' over and I have modified it and made it into more of a Corporate Board Resolution granting limited Nominee Officer status only for the duration of opening the account, etc., which I feel would be a better instrument to handle and control the transaction. Hoping someone there could help me by reviewing this contract since I'm on a limited income of only SSI payments since I'd like to protect my interests before I sign this agreement. I can send over a 'generic' copy of the contract if you can help me. Ty!

It sounds like you are being scammed.  Do not send money to this "law firm".  This is not how these deals are done, and I fear you might be being misled.
