QUESTION

Help with breach of contract with landscaping company

Asked on Jan 04th, 2023 on Contracts - Arizona
More details to this question:
Have a signed contract. Contractor is 45 days late completing the last stages of job. Contractor not progressing to finish job despite my repeated attempts to get performance and complete the work. I have paid for work and materials, not delivered "ie. metal fencing and 2 yard gates." Issued Cure Notice in late Dec. 2022. Contractor not communicating, not addressing options or issues in cure notice to resolve dispute. Contractor appears to be willing to just walk away, take $15k of my $$, and not provide work or materials I have paid for. Cost estimate for metal fencing and 2 yard gates installed is @$15000.00. Frustrated by days and lack of effort to correct deficiencies. Cure Notice gave Contractor 30 days to purchase contracted materials and install metal fencing ( Jan 30,2023).

Your best option here would be a demand letter being sent from an attorney. This may be enough to scare them into performing. There are also complaints that we can file with different agencies in order to try to get them to respond and perform.
