More details to this question:
I financed a car for my boyfriend. After the purchase was made, we broke up, i have asked him to either give me the car back or have it financed by else. He is refusing to do either claiming we had a contract and let me know that I will never see the car again as it is gone. How can I go about getting my name off the purchase or cam I get the car back? The loan, insurance and title are in my name only.

You are going to have a hard time with this one. Report the car stolen, and the police can at least locate the car, which will make insurance unnecessary and lower your debt. But, you signed, you owe it.
