More details to this question:
I've owned the business and equipment since 2009 and in early 2014 I allowed a person to come in as a partner, he and I made a virbal agreement and the agreement was I provided the equipment needed to operate the store and he was to manage the store , this person has since without my knowledge bought "NOT" the business, but instead bought the property itself. This person then changed the name of the business with a new business license under his name only, therefore then he kicked me off the property and will not give me acess to retrieve my equipment seeing as I dont have the original paperwork to show the police proving the equipment is mine

You don't. You will have to retain a lawyer to sue the business partner for return of the items, breach of the agreement, etc. THIS is a classic example of why is it so pennywise and pound foolish not to hire a buisiness lawyer to address such transactions. You may now get stuck spending far more to try to address this issue. If you have any questions or concerns, please call our office at 1-800-922-6442 for a FREE consultation.
