How to break 52 week training contract at LA fitness

More details to this question:
Did not want a trainer for this long. My name and bank account on contract but my parnter signed the contract only. I am into 4th month now. Did not know it was for that time frame. Would had cancel it. The personal said I could cancel at anytime,contract say I would have to pay for the rest or half whats left. What can I do?

You may need to hire a lawyer to intervene and look at the contract. Unfortunately, written contracts over-ride "buyers remorse" asa general rule.
