QUESTION

How to respond to a summary judgement

Asked on Aug 21st, 2013 on Contracts - New York
More details to this question:
We purchased a vehicle from a dealership 3 years ago. The dealership changed the contract that we signed by forging my fiancé"s signature. We were put with a finance company that we would have never agreed to. Every legal agency and the department of motor vehicles have passed us off to the next, and we have received no recourse. Now we are being ordered to turn the vehicle over, which leaves us out of our money and vehicle. There has to be some form of justice for us, and I would like to know who, how, and what we need to do.

Was there already a determination by a Judge that you have to turn over the vehicle or the dealership is making a request to a judge by submitting papers to the court?
