Howcan i get my share of my spouses 401K funds

My wife left me 9 years ago and has an exceptional amount in her 401K plan i have not been able to find her,and would like to know what my options are.Regarding my share of her 401K funds at Citicorp. Before she left she had over $100.00 thousand dollars in her account.

Pension and retirement accounts are divided as part of the divorce proceedings. That is done by way of a qualified domestic relations order or QDRO http://www.dol.gov/ebsa/faqs/faq_qdro.html. you will have to do that as part of the divorce. You have indicated you do not know where to find her. You will need to find her, and get account information, in order to do the divorce and the QDRO.
