I am going to small claims over a contract. why is an attorney allowed to help them.

I removed a lein to keep cost down and go to small claims court. now I here he can go and help the other guy in small claims. how do you keep attorneys out of it ?

Any party is entitled to be represented by an attorney if he, she, or it wishes.
